‘Low-THC cannabis’ refers to the plant and its product(s) which contain a very small amount of THC (dried flowers contain 0.8% or less) and are high in CBD (more than 10%) weight for weight. Due to such low amounts of THC, patients should not get the psychoactive, euphoric “high” which is typically associated with marijuana. 

Conversely, ‘Medical marijuana’ can be described as High-THC cannabis. These products will contain a significant amount of THC and can result in the euphoric “high” sensation.

Yes. Governor DeSantis signed Senate Bill 182 into law on March 18, 2019, and the law was effective as of that date. The law allows a qualified physician to determine that smoking is an appropriate route of administration for medical marijuana.
